When the Priests sounded the shofar blast, Joshua commanded the people, "Shout, for the L-rd has given you the city!"
- Joshua 6:16
On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud shofar blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with G-d, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the L-RD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, the whole mountain trembled violently, and the sound of the shofar grew louder and louder. Then Moses spoke and the voice of G-d answered him.
- Exodus 19:16-19
The Greater Kudu

Yemenite Shofar
Shofar So Great provides rams' horns which produce A-Tone-Meant, a redemptive sound that cuts through the natural into the realm of G-d's Kingdom on earth. As in biblical history, the blowing of the horn was a purposeful call to attention and assembly (Numbers 10:1-3). And G-d said to Moses "Make two trumpets; make them of hammered silver... when they are sounded, the entire community is to assemble before you at the door of the tent of meeting." In these times many are gathering to pray, to proclaim, to intercede, to unite, accompanied by this trumpet sound.
Shofar So Great is your source to purchase Shofarot handcrafted by one of Israel's founding families whose manufacturing tradition dates back generations. Personal attention is given to the selection of each Shofar on your behalf. Traditional premium ram's horns are tested and guaranteed to produce the required sounds we are commanded to hear on the High Holy Days. Also, Shofar So Great offers the popular triple-twisted Yemenite Shofarot from the horn of the African antelope, The Greater Kudu, which can replicate at least five notes harmoniously.
The ancient trumpet of biblical days, The Shofar, when sounded intentionally for the purposes of The Most High, is a powerful instrument in the heavenly realm. "Praise the L-rd... praise him with the sounding of the Shofar" (Psalm 150:1-3). It is a wake-up call to the nations. "The Sovereign L-rd himself will sound the Shofar" when he appears (Zechariah 9:14-17). The sound of the Shofar shifts the atmosphere in the spiritual realm and serves to cause of confusion in the enemies camp. "...you will be rescued from your enemies" (Numbers 10:9). This sound represents G-d's voice in the land and strikes the fear of G-d in evildoers. Traditionally, the Shofar is used to sound a symbolic cry during Rosh Hashanah, The Feast of Trumpets. In the Jubilee year, Leviticus 25:9 commands us to ..."have the Shofar sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the Shofar throughout your land." That sound represents anguish, a wail of repentance to G-d. It is a lasting ordinance of G-d for "the sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow on the trumpets," Numbers 10:10.
The mission of Shofar So Great is to equip all those called to this 'Shofar Army' with the anointed sounds of the Kingdom of the L-rd. Shofar So Great personally sources all Shofarot directly from Israel with Rosh Tekiah, Robert Weinger, testing and anointing each one.
